Many people who have what seems to be an allergy to wheat and dairy may find that it is the diet of nightshades that inflames the intestines, which in turn prevents proper digestion of these two items. Wheat and dairy are very hard to digest and when the digestive ability is inhibited, these probably start to rot in the gut, causing various types of distress. It was the author’s and other’s experience that once nightshades were removed from the diet that the ability to digest wheat and dairy returned to normal and the production of intestinal gas was nearly completely eliminated. If a person suffers from wheat and dairy allergy it is important to understand if it is a “true” allergy meaning that consumption results in a histamine reaction, or a “false” allergy which is just an inability to properly digest wheat and diary. It is the latter, after a couple of weeks of strict nightshade free dieting, a person can “test” one of the food, by taking a small sample and then waiting 48 hours to see if any symptoms result.
When testing may sure you are in a safe place where you can lay down if need be and have friends around. If symptoms do not occur, then slowly increase the amount until a full serving is had. If you find that wheat gives you no symptoms, you can then try milk. But, first stop eating wheat for 72 hours to clear the system, then try a small sample and slowly increase the amount until a full serving is had. Once you are sure that you can digest both wheat and dairy separately, when keeping a nightshade free diet. Then try having wheat and dairy at the same time in small amounts. Until full serving sizes are achieved, if a success, then you did not have an allergy to wheat and dairy but could not properly digest them when your intestine was inflamed from nightshades!
Be sure to consult with your doctor before attempting any change in diet.
